Sure Secure Teams with Leidos to Enhance NASA’s Cybersecurity

Sure Secure is teaming with Leidos on the recent NASA End-User Services & Technologies (NEST) award. The two companies will provide cybersecurity and cloud services under the NEST contract, and Leidos will mentor Sure Secure as its protégé at NASA.

NEST is a firm-fixed-price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with a potential value of $2.9 billion for information technology (IT) end-user services to support the Agency’s headquarters, centers, and other performance sites.

Narjis Ali, CEO at Sure Secure Solutions, said the scale and scope of the cybersecurity and cloud needs for this contract are not only crucial elements to keep NASA secure, but also enable IT services for its missions. “We could not be more honored to be selected by Leidos, a renowned leader in this space, to bring us on and also mentor us,” Ali said.

Leidos was awarded the contract by NASA in February 2019. It establishes a long-term outsourcing arrangement between NASA and the commercial sector to provide and manage most of NASA’s personal computing hardware, supporting infrastructure, agency standard software, mobile IT services, help-desk support, and other associated end-user services.

Sure Secure is a woman-owned small business specializing in cloud services, web development, cyber security, and data analytics. It provides IT security, cloud and cybersecurity services to federal clients including NASA, U.S. Department of Agriculture. Customs and Border Protection, and the U.S. Army. Sure Secure has been recognized as the Small Business Prime Contractor for two years in a row by NASA Headquarters 2016 and 2017, by NASA Shared Services Center for 2017; and recipient of the Outstanding Performance Award by the NASA Chief Engineer.
