The Court of Federal Claims has ordered the U.S. General Services Administration to re-score all bids made for contracts under the $15B Alliant 2 Small Business governmentwide acquisition vehicle for IT services.
In response, GSA issued a procurement notice this week saying it was rescinding all 81 awards made under the contract back in February 2018. It’s not clear whether the agency will merely rescore existing bids or reopen the whole bidding process, reports NextGov.
The Court of Federal Claims ruling was made to address errors in the scoring process raised in a bid protest from Virginia-based technology company, Citizant Inc.
