The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has announced the availability of TSA PreCheck® Touchless ID at Will Rogers International Airport (OKC) and Albuquerque International Sunport (ABQ) checkpoints.
This cutting-edge biometric technology allows eligible TSA PreCheck members to experience a faster, more seamless identity verification process without needing to present a physical ID or boarding pass at the security checkpoint.
TSA PreCheck Touchless ID uses advanced facial comparison technology to verify a traveler’s identity in seconds. Passengers simply look into a camera at a dedicated lane, where their live photo is securely matched against their stored passport. This touchless process enhances security while providing a more efficient and convenient screening experience for enrolled travelers.
“Having TSA PreCheck Touchless ID at OKC marks another step forward in modernizing airport security and improving the passenger journey,” said TSA Federal Security Director for Oklahoma Mathew Ketchum. “We are excited to offer this cutting-edge option to our travelers, reducing wait times and leading to a more streamlined security screening process.”
“Bringing TSA PreCheck Touchless ID to Albuquerque International Sunport is another important step in modernizing airport security for New Mexicans,” said Maggie Santiago, TSA’s Acting Federal Security Director for New Mexico. “We are proud to offer this innovate option to travelers across the Land of Enchantment, which will help reduce wait times and deliver a smoother, more efficient screening checkpoint experience.”
The feature is available to current TSA PreCheck members flying out with Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Southwest Airlines and United Airlines.
