The Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) has released its 2025 public report. The report reflects the complexity of Canada’s current national security environment. It highlights the impact of the demands on CSIS and how the organization continues to meet the ever-evolving threats facing Canada.
The report highlights the numerous achievements and stark reminders that CSIS saw in 2025, including achieving a number of counterterrorism successes that led to law enforcement action, the progress made by the organization in counterintelligence and counter-foreign interference efforts, as well as countering life-threatening transnational repression and preventing cyber intrusion by foreign states. The report also describes the critical role CSIS intelligence, advice, and action play in advancing Canada’s security, sovereignty, and economic prosperity.
The release of the CSIS Public Report 2025 supports CSIS’ commitment to increased transparency, and to ensuring that Canadians have the information and tools they need to confront the collective threats that affect us all.
