US to Investigate Chinese-made Smart Cars as Potential National Security Risk

The Biden administration is warning of the looming national security risks from smart cars made in China or other adversarial countries.

The cars on American roadways could be hacked or collect and transmit sensitive data that imperils the U.S., the White House warned this week.

President Joe Biden has ordered the Commerce Department to investigate the risks and consider regulations.
