ManTech Awarded $110M Cybersecurity Task Orders

Over the past several years, the federal government has experienced an onslaught of significant cybersecurity threats. To combat these increasingly complex and damaging threats, the General Services Administration has awarded ManTech International Corporation a $110 million for two task orders to provide cloud and cybersecurity services to the Department of Homeland Security.

“Controlling access to critical information and establishing a secure cloud environment is essential for protecting our federal agencies from insider and emerging threats,” said L. William Varner, president of ManTech’s Mission, Cyber & Intelligence Solutions Group, in a statement. “ManTech has developed multiple cybersecurity measures over the years to combat these threats, and our team looks forward to supporting this important federal initiative.”

Under the Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) and Continuous Monitoring as a Service (CMaaS) task order, ManTech will provide CDM services to 44 federal agencies. Awarded under the GSA Alliant Government-Wide Acquisition Contract vehicle, the two-year task order is valued at approximately $25 million.

Through the Privileged Access Management task order, the company will provide tools to federal agencies to manage privileged access to critical information. Privileged access management was strongly advocated by the 2015 Cyber Sprint and the White House’s Cybersecurity Strategy and Implementation Plan (CSIP), which aims to strengthen federal cybersecurity & modernizing the government’s technology infrastructure.

Awarded under the CDM CMaaS Blanket Purchase Agreement and GSA IT Schedule 70 contract, the two-year task order is valued at $85 million.
