U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Office of Trade personnel, among other CBP teammates, were recognized during the 2026 Commissioner’s Awards Ceremony for their contributions to the agency’s mission and commitment to serving the United States.
Presented by CBP Commissioner Rodney S. Scott and Acting Deputy Commissioner Ronald D. Vitiello, the annual ceremony recognized more than 300 CBP employees who demonstrated exceptional dedication and performance during 2025.
Office of Trade personnel were recognized across several award categories, including:
- Best Practices, Efficiency, and Innovation Award
- Trade Facilitation Award
- Workforce Care Award
- Resiliency Award
Executive Assistant Commissioner Thomas joined Commissioner Scott in recognizing the Office of Trade employees honored during the ceremony.
The Office of Trade supports CBP’s mission by facilitating lawful international trade while protecting the U.S. economy from illicit and unsafe goods, enforcing trade laws, and working with government and industry partners to strengthen supply chain security.
