Former HSI Executive Derek Benner Visits DHS Cyber Crimes Center to Spotlight Fight Against Online Child Exploitation

Former Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Executive Associate Director Derek Benner, now CEO of Our Rescue, recently visited the Department of Homeland Security’s Cyber Crimes Center (C3) to discuss ongoing efforts to combat online child sexual exploitation and abuse.

The visit focused on the shared mission of C3 and HSI to investigate internet-based crimes targeting children, safeguard victims, and hold offenders accountable. C3 serves as DHS’s centralized hub for cybercrime expertise, providing advanced digital forensics, operational support, and analytical capabilities to HSI investigations nationwide and abroad.
