Most electric vehicle (EV) charging stations rely solely on a credit card linked to an app or through contactless payments with RFID-enabled credit cards or through a driver’s smartphone.

The competition is inviting proposals from suppliers seeking support for test and trial activities in order to accelerate the development and support the exploitation of their innovative airport security solutions.

Efforts of both agencies in the fields of research and development of new technologies will also be closely coordinated, for instance for the introduction of the European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS).

The Government Accountability Office has testified that the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has guidance and checklists to monitor screeners’ use of behavior detection, but that it should better target unlawful profiling.

 TSA anticipates more than 4% traveler growth this summer and expects to break screening records throughout the summer travel period.

The MTSNAC is composed of members from public and private entities whose purpose is to guide the Secretary of Transportation on matters relating to marine transportation and its seamless integration with other segments of the transportation system.
